Michael Rasmussen’s “Mini Site Profits Exposed” Video Series:

Most Internet marketers understand that having mini
sites is the fastest and easiest way to make money
online. They don’t require a lot of time, energy, or
money to set up, and once you’ve got one up and
running, you can sit back and just collect money from
all the sales you’re making.

At least… that’s how it’s supposed to be, right?

The truth is that mini sites really ARE easy to set
up. They really DON’T require much time, energy, and
money to set up. So why is it that so few people
actually make money with their mini sites?

The answer is that they never learned how to actually
turn their mini site into a profitable moneymaker that
runs completely on autopilot. The good news is…

Here’s what this is all about: My colleague Michael
Rasmussen has just released a brand new video course
that will walk you through the process of creating a
killer mini site from the ground up, and then he’ll
also teach you how to actually start making money with
it right away and into the future.

If you’ve been looking for help with monetizing your
mini sites, then this is exactly what you need. The
best part? The videos are FREE! I’ll tell you more
about that later. First, let’s talk about the videos

Give Me Something Different Please! FINNALLY

Trust me when Isay:

“What this guy (James Grandstaff) is doing will have many successful marketers scrambling to implement his brilliant idea into their current marketing mix.” Before I tell you exactly what he’s doing… Let’s pretend for a minute that you’re new to the world of trying to make money online.

You probably belong to several other “Lists.” If the list owner is doing their job, they are providing you with a balanced dose of useful content along with offers for products that will help you on your quest for financial freedom.

But here lies the problem…

Take a minute right now and think about your “mindset” as you’re going through your emails. You have one “clickin’ happy finger” on the delete button and your eyes are scanning for a well crafted subject line that catches your attention. Maybe you’re looking for an email from your favourite guru or a newsletter that you subscribe to. It doesn’t really matter.

What matters is…

Going through your email isn’t as much fun as when you first got online, is it? Do you remember when you got your first email? If you’re anything like me, you were ecstatic. And I bet you told all your friends about it- “That’s Right, Got My First Email Today.” Well, that was a long time ago. The problem now is we’re hit with 1,000 spam emails per day and checking email just isn’t as fun or effective anymore.

The biggest reason it’s not as effective is due to our minds being closed to accepting new and helpful information. Just the other day I received an email from a subscriber who said the site I sent them to wasn’t really free (there was an offer presented upon registration.) I politely responded… “Why don’t you skip the offer, since it didn’t interest you, and go inside the member’s area and listen to the free audio interviews from the featured experts?”

I truly believe this subscriber responded that way because she had her guard up. Had the information been presented in a different format she may have been more accepting of the message and therefore benefited from it. Not to worry-it’s all good, because… James Grandstaff has come up with a solution.

His new Podcast called “The Ask James Podcast” enables you to get your questions answered when the time is right for you; when your “head is right” so to speak :-)

One of the reasons James came up with idea is because of all the “clutter” and “noise” that keeps filling our inboxes and distracting us. His podcast solves that problem by providing answers to his listener’s questions when they’re away from the noisy inbox. And I think it’s a brilliant idea.

But there’s more to it… James won’t be the only who answers the questions of his listeners. On occasion, he will be inviting big name famous marketers to help answer some questions during a show. So if you have a question about marketing or making money online, or list building, or whatever. You could potentially have a guru like Mark Joyner or Mike Filsaime answer your question. I know for a fact Mark Joyner charges $2,000 per hour for phone consultation. Imagine if he answered your single biggest question regarding creating wealth online-for free! I think you get the idea :-)

The next step is to check it out for yourself. When you get to the site:

1) Register for free

2) Submit your question to James

3) Claim your free gift valued at $37

4) Listen and enjoy the show!

So you want to be successful online

Here are some quick ways to get started

Ok I can dig that, but there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it. First of all you have to do your homework and that means research, get a feel for what’s out there, don’t take shortcuts because it will only cost you wasted time in the long run.

There are several categories in the home business group,

So you need to narrow the choice down to just one category to start with. Concentrate on this category and give it your full undivided attention, a good idea is to look for an established newsletter to subscribe to, you’ll want a newsletter that will give you the information that you require specifically on your chosen category. Here is my suggestion; if you check out the eBusiness Centre you will find experts in all areas in home business, there are 24 leading marketers to choose from and if they don’t cover what you’re looking for then it’s not worth talking about.

Get yourself hooked up to the paymasters

and by this I mean all the must have memberships; for example- PayPal, Google, Clickbank, Amazon, Yahoo, Feedburner for RSS feeds, Article Marketer if you want to write articles. If you’re not already a member of a social network then sign up to at least two or three of the more popular sites like My Space, FaceBook and Digg, a useful place to find all the top social sites are and these two are particularly useful for posting bookmarks and articles, they will save you a lot of time.

Get a couple of extra email accounts

For all the junk mail- at Google or Yahoo, believe me you will need them, and keep your personal email account personal. Look for a good auto responder service this will be invaluable for setting up newsletters or eZines and is a huge time saver, in fact no self respecting marketer would be without one.

If you join any affiliate program

Stick to it for at least a month and give it your best shot by promoting through articles and blogs as well as emails and social networks. A good place to start promoting and building links and leads is the Leads Leap affiliate web site. Look for a program that has plenty of marketing materials for you to promote the product.

Get yourself into the groove

Practice good habits make a plan of attack and set short term goals and long term goals.

· Do not take on too many affiliate programs, start with just one and see how you fair; you will see better results in concentrating your efforts on one venture to start with.

· Don’t lose sight of your goals get organised, use the right tools there are an abundance of free resources on the web for you to utilize and make your task easier.

· Do not delay or hold back on promoting yourself or your product, the more you delay means less chance of succeeding.

· Our time is precious so good time management is a must, try and balance the various demands in your life. Don’t overdo it, get some exercise and take regular breaks or you might end up with an ulcer.

· Make use of the many knowledge resources that are available and improve yourself, the more knowledge you possess the more successful you will be.

· Do keep up with your friends and family and share your successes with them, they will surely encourage you to new heights.

· In the end you reap what you sow, the sense of achievement is a great feeling to have, remember above all enjoy your journey and have fun.

Building Your List from downloads

The mailing list is the lifeblood of your online business. That old saying “the money is in the list” is definitely true enough — if you had a targeted list of prospects to contact each time you have a new product, you will be able to save a lot of effort by marketing it to your existing list of targeted prospects.

You can actually build up a targeted list of prospects that are interested in your products by offering a relevant download on your website. For example, let’s take a look at a very good example — When you download the free iTunes and QuickTime software from their site, they will ask you to fill in an optional name and email form so that they can send you offers on songs that you can purchase via — guess where — iTunes!

In reality, you do not need to offer a high profile download such as fully featured software like iTunes. You can attract prospects equally well with some quality freebies such as a simple report, a free wallpaper or gadget. The important thing is that your download offers enough value for the prospect to be willing to give away his/her own email address to get it.

However, throwing together a simple download and putting a link on your website won’t be enough to attract qualified leads. You will have to do some homework in order for your lead-generating mechanism to work well for you.

First of all, you must place your download form prominently on your website. Preferably; dedicate a page to it and link to that page from every other page of your website. That way, there is no way your visitors cannot find the download page, and when they do, you’ll get some of them converted into your prospects!

Also, you have to put a little effort into promoting your download. Explain and elaborate on the values of the download, and why your visitors should download it. You might think why would anyone want to pass on a freebie, but most of your visitors might be too lazy to take the effort to download it. Because a lot of downloads just sit on the hard disk collecting virtual dust. So it is therefore important to show your visitors why they should download your freebie.

Read My Ad to the End!

((3 effective strategies to help you achieve this)).

1. Break up your copy

Remember your prospect is looking for a reason to turn the page or click off to another site so it’s not just what you say but how you present it.

Use short paragraphs and sentences.

Break up your copy with Subheadings.

Subheads make it visually more appealing for the reader so they are more likely to start and continue reading if it looks easy.

Just be sure that the copy that immediately follows is totally relevant to the headline. And that each section flows into the next.

You should use them like links throughout your copy to move your reader from one point to the next - linking all the main elements of your letter. This also means that skimmers can quickly scan or scroll down your entire letter and still get the message even if they are not reading every word.

2. Turn features into benefits

you’ve maybe heard that we’re all listening to our own radio station called WIIFM or “What’s In It for me.”

So if your prospect is thinking in “what’s-in-it-for-me” terms then you need to be writing in those terms.

They will only be stopping on your ad long enough to see if there is a possible solution to their problem.

And to keep your reader interested you need to be writing in WIIFM terms throughout your copy. Not just in the headline.

This means writing in benefits and not just features. Your prospect is not interested in your product or its features. They are only interested in what your product or service can do for them.

A simple way to translate features into benefits is by using the 2 magic words “which means”. If for example you are selling a television set with a really big screen. You could write “The top model in the A-brand range has a big 60 inch TV screen which means you can create a movie theatre in your very own living room”.

3. Use bullets effectively

like subheads, bullet points help break up your sales letter and make it easy to read as well as appeal to skimmers. People like that sort of checklist.

Some of the most effective bullets are

- Blind bullets which are a teaser and don’t give anything tangible but they do create curiosity.

- Give away bullets where you give the reader a nugget of tangible information which makes them think if you are giving this away the information you are selling must be really great and valuable. Use this sparingly; say one at the beginning and one at the end of your bullet list.

- Short sentence bullets that let you pack in a lot of information in a concise way. Like a shorter version of a short paragraph.

- Written in benefit terms that translate a feature into a benefit that solves the reader’s problem.

Use these techniques to have your prospect reading your letter or ad right till the end you are bound to increase your sales results.
