Surfing the blogosphere

Just for a change I thought I would post some of my comments from Surfing the blogosphere on blogs that I have read this morning. All three posts are excellent reads, so why not pop over and leave a comment.

Are Paid Link Directories worth the money?

I haven’t committed to paid directories, for the individual blogger these paid directory listings are a complete waste of time. You would be better off commenting on high traffic and Do Follow blogs and social networks like Blogcatalog. You do have a point though about new sites getting some decent exposure. It comes down to

Are all Internet Marketers full of BS?

Let’s have a rant for a change, and to answer the titles question “Are all Internet Marketers full of BS?” well I would have to say that at least 90% are definitely full of it! I decided to write this post after reading an excellent thread over at the Warrior Forum entitled “Come On People This Has To Stop.” Started by warrior Tim Whiston.

Quote from Tim’s opener

Nobody seems to care whether or not their readers actually receive value or learn how to make money. In fact it really seems virtually everyone is pushing the same packaged garbage that will likely produce little in the way of legitimate results if used by a real

Update on Web-Work At Home commenting system

Update on Web-Work At Home commenting system, I am now using Intense Debate plugin for my blog. I have found that there are just too many issues with my previous commenting system. If you have any problems in leaving comments or you have some feedback then please drop me an email or leave a message on one of my services.

If you want to find out more on my change-over and my elusive bug hunt, then pop over to my personal blog @ billmasson.com and please let me know if you have had similar

Issues with Disqus

This is the Disqus commenting system at work, I just recieved this comment reply by email from another Disqus member who replied to my comment, so I thought I would post it from the Disqus admin. It seems to work okay and its a great way to extend the thread. I will still hold off until I can resolve the missing comments issues.

Hi there,
First of all Thanks for including my link in your Zementa list, I have decided to put the Disqus system on hold, primarily because of the loss of my comments. I can only assume that there is a clash with one of my other plugins, any how I have a pretty good setup for my comments and as the old saying goes if it aint broke don’t fix it. The programmer over at Disqus gave me the usual first option and ran me through the import option which i already did, I guess the only way to narrow it down is to disable all 40 plus plugins to find the

Changing over to Disqus Comment System

I must admit I do have reservations about changing over especially since I already have an excellent commenting structure already setup. But because I use the social networks quite a lot in my business I thought it prudent to bring these networks onto Web-Work At Home. The networks that integrate with Disqus are FaceBook, FriendFeed, Twitter, Delicious all of which I use, also included are Flickr, Linkedin and Tumblr which I don’t use at the
